Kristin Blix was born and raised in Norway. She began singing in a band called Guards of Metropolis in Oslo in 200l. The band moved to the United States that same year and Kristin has lived here ever since. She now lives in Salem, Oregon where she is awaiting the release of her debut CD, "Alligator". Kristin started working with photography in 2002 and by accident started painting in late March, 2006. "I find that old roads are easier travelled. You will jump over a river if you think a creek you see. Heavy loads are lighter where many gather. I do not always find what I think I am looking for. In the shadows there is only less light. Rules are fear in a glossy gift wrapped package. You cannot see what's right in front of you if you only use your eyes. Too many kings too few people." |
