![]() About the Gallery ![]() The Attic Gallery's large space downtown on SW First Ave. has five exhibition rooms filled with colorful, finely executed paintings in acrylics, oils, pastels, and mixed media as well as bronze, metal, clay, and wood sculpture all by contemporary artists. There is also a design center with Portland's most extensive collection of frame samples from which to choose custom framing, a full service frame shop on the premises and a full time expert framer to fill any frame order. The Attic Gallery's second location (opened May 2006) was in the Pearl District at 539 NW 10th and Hoyt. This space was designed by Tommer Gonser who along with Maria Gonser managed the gallery in the Pearl. This new space has 10,000 square feet, four exhibition rooms including a larger garage space that Tommer is planning to use as a performance venue. Since May, 2008, Maria and Tommer have started their own gallery called Josefa Kate Gallery in the 525 NW 10th location while the Attic Gallery has moved back to its 206 SW First Ave. location. The gallery address is 206 SW First Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97204.
