At her home, Brianna is surrounded by easels, canvases, oil and acrylic paints and a father who is a working artist. Brianna and her father, Tommer Gonser, paint together on a regular basis as she studies color theory, design concept, and perspective. Brianna who has kept a drawing journal for five years has also studied art with Veronica Lake at Terra Linda Elementary School.

Brianna began selling her paintings at First Thursday gallery openings as a means to collect funds for a child with brain cancer that the school was sponsoring through the Sparrow Club which supports families with children who are being treated for cancer. With a strong purpose of helping, Brianna's commitment grew and her art ability also grew as not only a means to an end but as a natural unleashing of her talent.

Brianna is a delightful, people caring person who lights up every room she enters with an aura about her that certainly attracts ones attention. Brianna has a friend and champion in Jacqueline Lenea who is a devoted supporter of artists and their works of art. She is also a promoter of children's art. In Jacqueline's words, "Introducing young children to art encourages expression and builds self-confidence. When we support children's art, we validate their emotions and feelings. As adults, when we view children's art, it disarms the urge to be critical and allows us to enjoy the beauty, spontaneity and optimism of their efforts. We appreciate children's art for all that it is without wishing it to be more."
